Ohanae for Windows 10

New Users

1. From the Welcome Screen, click on "Next" to access a quick tour of the Ohanae interface.

2. Click on "New User? Register a free account" to register an Ohanae Account.

3. Key in your personal information.

4. Click on the "Register Account" button and continue. An account activation email will be sent to you. Do check the junk mail folder if you do not receive the email.

5. Click "Activate Account" in the email to activate your account. You will be redirected to a web browser to confirm your account has been activated.

Great!! You have successfully created an Ohanae Account.

6. Now your device is exclusively linked to your account. Navigate back to your Ohanae App, enter your username and passphrase and "Sign In".

New User (Email Invitation)

1. You will receive an invitation email from an existing Ohanae user.

2. Download Ohanae App on your device.

3. Register an Ohanae Account.

4. For Enterprise users, sign in to Salesforce Customer Org using your enterprise credentials.

Existing Users

1. If this is your first time using the application on this device, enter your username and passphrase. Click "Sign In".

2. Ohanae will activate your device and sync your account information.

3. For Enterprise users, sign in to Salesforce Customer Org using your enterprise credentials.

4. You have now successfully configured your device and logged in to your Ohanae account.

Congratulations!! You have successfully signed in and configured Ohanae App on your PC. You can now protect both your data in the cloud and the credentials used to access that data.

1. Select "Settings".

2. Select "Sign out".

1-Tap Login empowers you to create unique strong passwords for your online accounts. Passwords are not stored, they are dynamically generated and erased locally from your device when not in use.

1. Click on the "+" button at the top right corner of the screen as shown below.

2. A page appears to fill in your login details. Enter the application name of your choice and username. (eg. Twitch, Gmail, Amazon).

Note: Each field has a maximum character length.

3. The system will generate a strong password based on the parameters (user-defined) or you may manually enter a password of your choice.

4. Click "Generate" or "Save Password" to complete the process.

3. Select a domain from the list.

4. Fill in login details.

1. From the Password Management page, select the desire application.

2. Select username from a list of aliases registered under that domain.

3. Click on the username.

Note: If passphrase lock is triggered, enter your passphrase to continue.

4. Click on the button to view your password.

1. Select the domain and username. The password is automatically copied to the clipboard. Click "Close" on the dialog box displaying the password to dismiss the prompt.

2. Go to your desire website.

3. Enter your username. Copy and paste the password from Ohanae App.

1. Click "Edit" button at the top of the screen.

2. Click the "Edit" icon corresponding to the account you wish to modify and follow on-screen instructions.

3. Click "Generate Password" or "Save Password" to complete the process.

4. You will be navigated to a page containing your old password and newly generated password.

1. Make sure existing user account and domain is listed on your Ohanae App.

2. View password and it is automatically copied to the clipboard for you.

3. Login to your online account from your browser. Navigate to Change Password.

4. Enter your current password if required by the website.

5. Enter new password to the New Password field.

6. Enter new password to the Confirm Password field.

You password is now successfully changed.

Edit Account :

Click the "Edit" icon to edit the username or password. The username should be identical to the actual username at the point of account creation from the online service.

Share Password :

You may share your passwords with anyone. Click the "Share" icon and enter the recipient's Ohanae Username/Email. A "shared" icon will appear next to the username.

Rollback Password :

In the case that you want to revert to a password previously generated by Ohanae, click the "Revert password" icon.

Delete Account :

Click the "Delete" icon to remove an account.

Your Private folder is uniquely encrypted and the files stored here cannot be read by others. Encrypted files in your private folder have .ohanae file extension.

1. Navigate to the Secure Cloud Drive tab where you will find different cloud storage providers supported by Ohanae.

2. Select the Cloud storage provider (e.g. Box).

3. Enter your login details.

4. Ohanae will create a Private folder in your cloud storage account.

In a collaborative working environment, we often need to share files and folders with multiple groups of people. Secure Shared Folder provides a unique solution to securely share files through cloud storage providers.

With Ohanae, you can create a Secure Shared Folder under your cloud storage account. All files saved in the Secure Shared Folder will be automatically encrypted before they are uploaded to the cloud. The folder can be shared with other users, and only those users in your sharing list will be able to decrypt and access the files in this folder.

5. Name your shared folder in the dialog box and click "Create Shared Folder".

6. Select users or groups as authorized users to access files in the Secure Shared Folder.

7. Mobile View Only is applicable to the iOS platform. For enterprise user, the following options are available to you: Tracking, Start date, and End date. Tracking would enable document owner to track who, when, and where a document is viewed based on geolocation coordinates. Start date would allow you to set the date when the recipient can open the file, and End date to specify when a file is no longer available for viewing.

8. Click on "Next". The secure share folder is created.

Adding a file to the secure share folder will encrypt the file and this file can only be viewed by users in the sharing list.

2. You can also click on the “+” button on the top and select "Upload File" option. Select a file from your device. The file will be uploaded automatically.

Secure File Sharing allows you to share files securely with anyone using any delivery mechanism of your choice such as email, WhatsApp, etc.

Secure Shared Folder vs. Secure File Sharing

Secure Shared Folder is applicable to Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive. The sharing mechanism is cloud storage provider specific.

1. Navigate to the Secure File Sharing Tab. Click on the “+” button.

Note: To add file, you may also drag and drop files to the screen.

2. Select file(s) to share securely.

3. Select users or groups as authorized users to access the file.

5. You can view a list of files encrypted for sharing on the Secure File Sharing tab.

6. Select "Share". Select a sharing Apps to send the file.

In addition, you may also select "See More" , "Select", Select file(s), "Share", Select a sharing Apps to send the file.

1. Make sure you are signed in to Ohanae.

2. Double click on the secure shared file.

3. You will be navigated to the Ohanae App. Enter your passphrase and click OK.

4. Your file will be opened with a default apps by file type (eg. .docx opened by Word etc.).

5. You can now view the file on your Secure File Sharing page.

3. Enter email address to invite new user. New User will receive an email with instructions to set up his/her account.

4. You need a minimum of 2 Trustees. Select your trustees and Select "Done".

Send you the recovery code

2. Go to "Support", "Passphrase Recovery"

3. Paste the recovery code into "Passphrase Recovery".

4. Login to Ohanae app using the recovered passphrase.

If you are a Premium user and are using multiple devices, you can manage your devices by clicking “Manage Devices”. You can choose to edit the device name or deactivate any of your registered devices.

Rename Device :

Click the "Edit" icon to rename device.

Deactivate Device :

Click the "Delete" icon to deactivate a device.

A confirmation email will sent to your registered email address. Your selected device will be deactivated after you click the confirmation link in the email.

Ohanae App provides a passphrase lock when you are inactive for a certain duration of time (determined by you). This security feature allows Ohanae to prevent any sensitive information such as passwords from being accessed by a third-party in your absence.

3. Select "Buy Ohanae" on the left menu bar.

4. In "Recharge My Account", choose a subscription package and proceed to payment. After the payment is successful, the validity will be extended.
